BenchTrash is a MAC-like implementation of a global workbench trashcan.
Ejection of dropped devices is supported, but requires an additional program
(e.g. ZipTool.lha by Oliver Hitz for ZIP drives). BenchTrash is very compact
and written in 100% assembly language, plus it's 100% free.
Changes made in 1.40
- Changed the window layout a bit. Guess it's more "intuitive" now.
- Added a close gadget and the "Esc" keyboard shortcut.
Changes made in 1.39
- Fixed another AFS bug by another workaround. Hey, folks! I'm
getting tired of this AFS mess! Please use a SERIOUS filing
system and not this collection of bugs. Arrrgh!
Changes made in 1.38.1
- not a new release, but includes an up-to-date 1.30 style catalog
for the português (portuguese) version of BenchTrash. Thanks,
Rúben!
Changes made in 1.38
- Added the turkish and portuguese translation. Thank you, folks!
(Done by Rúben Alvim and Gürer Özen)
- Rewrote parts of the cleanup procedure, made it a bit more
FFS friendly.
- Rewrote parts of the eject logic which is now more orthogonal.
Changes made in 1.37:
- Added the NOACTIVATE option.
- Removed a bug in the DOpus support that broke the DELETE
argument.
Changes made in 1.36:
- Changed the syntax of some shell arguments (some take now
boolean arguments, i.e. either ON or OFF) to keep the parameters
when BenchTrash is run from the shell.
- Added DOpus support. A larger RMB-AppIconMenu is now provided.
Changes made in 1.35:
- Fixed a stupid typo that broke the Cancel button.
- Included a new french and a czech catalog, thanks to
Vit Sindlar and Julien Wilk.
